A lot of love, effort and science goes into hand crafting our local beers. We want to share with you what happens behind the scenes to bring you these local brews. And the things that spark our passion to keep this local beer story going – from our little brewery dog, trips to the beach, hanging with beer enthusiasts, talking barley with farmers, using local grains and sampling the end product.
Anyone who has grown barley in Western Australia, is part of a regional community, who has tasted our uniquely local craft beer, wants to connect with rural Western Australia, and keep local communities vibrant. That’s what we are about. That’s Lucky Bay Brewing.
Lucky Bay Brewing is the only brewery in WA that sources raw barley direct from local farmers to make beer. Gavin, Elaine and Brad Egan from Scaddan are proud suppliers of our premium quality grain.
For special brews we also source quality barley and wheat from specific locations and farmers in the Esperance region and the West Australian wheatbelt.
Enjoying the spectacular Esperance coastline is a real highlight of living where we are, made even more special when you get to hang with your 4 legged best mate.
Rest in peace Obi-Wan – our first brewery dog. You filled our hearts… miss you.
